A Beach Inspired E-Session
So who else had an awesome long weekend!? The weather was great and we had three days off of work! We also got to photograph two of our future Bride and Grooms for their engagement sessions! It’s always an awesome weekend when it’s filled with loved ones, awesome weather, and photo shoots.
Saturday we met the couple in Long Point which held a very special moment to the couple. It was where Herman proposed to Tina! We first hit up the beach and took some photos with the beautiful sunset coming through the green trees. Then we traveled not to far down the road to a bird watch tower. Where Herman popped the question a few months ago!
We couldn’t have prayed for better weather! For a moment I thought we would get rained out but God had other plans. We ended up with beautiful sunlight peering through green leaves! Tina and Herman couldn’t have been any more amazing to work with! About mid way through I didn’t even have to tell Tina to pop that foot! Before I could even think of the words she was all set.
They nailed the poses and we had a few good laughs in between. I always love it when we can laugh together with our future Bride and Grooms, it builds a relationship between us and they come to know that we are more then just about getting pictures. We are there to be a support system for them in this special and intimate season of life. We don’t just want to be photographers on the wedding day, we want to have become friends with the Bride and Groom.
I think we accomplished getting over the awkward barrier with Tina and Herman and are on our way to enjoy this beautiful journey with them to the “I Do’s!” Congratulations Tina and Herman, I am so happy for you two and pray you have a beautiful wedding day and an even more beautiful marriage!
