A Spring Engagement In The Spring

So you guys, todays post is super important and personal to me! One of my oldest and closest friends is getting married! I am so honoured I get to capture these precious moments for her and her fiancé, Rick. Tina and I have been through our fair share of battles. It even cost us a couple of years of lost communication. Needless to say, we have both put the past and our selfishness behind us.

Our main mission in life is to build God’s Kingdom and to serve others while waiting for Him to come back. Before I started photography full time, I prayed. I prayed that if I could reach more people through my own business then I would have peace about quitting my job. And now I have this amazing opportunity every day, to serve others. To show them a kindness and compassion, that maybe they have never experienced.

It is such a joy that I can serve a woman who is so passionate about her relationship with God. She is so fearless in her faith and it is so encouraging to witness. I am so happy that she found a man who also has a love for God and wants to live for Him.

Tina and Rick, I’ve been to a lot of weddings now. And I’ve heard a lot of speeches about how the bride and groom are perfect for one another. But on your wedding day, I won’t be able to tell you that. The truth is you’re not perfect for one another. Marriage is hard. It takes work, it takes effort, and most of all it takes Grace, Forgiveness and unconditional love that only comes from God. You are both sinners who need grace and forgiveness daily.  So choose one another daily, and choose God every morning because with Him all things are possible.
